My favorite Class of 2020 Graduate

Updated: Apr 22, 2021

How could I not blog about my favorite class of 2020 graduate? I may be a little biased...ok a lot biased. Sorry, but not sorry....He is my handsome and smart son, Nicholas Marini!

Nicholas had an impromptu senior shoot on the way back from vacationing in Tennessee during the Thanksgiving break. We drove past The Bus Graveyard when driving through Alto, GA and I knew we had to stop on the way back.

Nicholas graduated from Martin County High School, where he was a team member of FIRST Robotics, F.R.C. winning team, SPAM Team 180. He was also a team member of Discovery Channel's Battlebots Team KurTrox Robotix - Axe Backwards and attended the filming of the BattleBots 2018 competition in California.

Nicholas was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society and received Scholar designation on his diploma. He volunteered weekly with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties and at FIRST Lego League Robotics competitions.

Nicholas was enrolled AP and Dual enrollment classes. He was also enrolled in Martin County High School's Career Tech Academy of Architectural Drafting, where he completed 6 Drafting classes and earned college credits. He is Autodesk AutoCad and Inventor Certified and received a Merit and AP Dual Enrollment designations on his diploma. He is also a certified PADI Open Water Diver Scuba Diver and has not only gone diving locally, but also in the Bahamas, Cozumel, Mex, and at Disney's Epcot Living Seas.

We are so proud of Nicholas's accomplishments and can't wait to see what his future has in store for him. Nicholas will attend Florida International University, where he plans to study Biomedical Engineering.
