Meet Hannah Lewis. Hannah is a class of 2020 Senior and a football and basketball Varsity Cheerleading Captain at Martin County High School.
Hannah was not new to cheer in high school. She actually cheered since she was 4 years old! In high school, Hannah was a volunteer coach in the same organization where it began and cheered for 8 years, Pop Warner’s Palm City Dolphins Youth Football and Cheer Hannah also cheered in middle school at Hidden Oaks Middle School in Palm City, FL.
Just like the word Cheerleader is made of two words CHEER and LEADER, Hannah is so much more. Hannah’s friends and family would describe her as energetic, outgoing, caring, talented, hardworking, dedicated, a team player, well-rounded and a good leader. I had the pleasure of photographing Hannah's Sweet 16's 2 years ago and witnessed how loved she is by her many friends and family!
Hannah was in the Leadership Program and was in Student government all 4 years. She was Frreshman Class President (with a student body of over 600 students), Sophomore Vice President and Junior and Senior Student Government Representative. She was also chosen Senior Class in Homecoming Representative by her peers.
Hannah was in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. She actually took 5 years of a foreign language when the high school requirement is only 2. Hannah maintained a 3.7 GPA, while taking Advanced Placement classes, being Dually Enrolled at Indian River State College (IRSC) and holding 2 part-time jobs. One was at one of her favorite restaurants 3 Natives.
Hannah’s other activities included Girls Choir and Yearbook, It seems like Hannah was very busy throughout her high school years, but she still found time to workout, go shopping and hanging out at her friends’ homes and at the beach.
There’s a quote that reads, "Cheerleaders can do the impossible-fly!" However, I have no doubt Hannah will not only fly, but SOAR to great heights. Fly, Hannah!
